THE JULINE FOUNDATION FOR CHILDREN
The Juline Foundation for Children is a non-profit organization devoted to providing all children who have a desire to perform and be self-expressive the opportunity to do so through dance. The Foundation provides children between the ages of 4 and 18 exposure to music and movement by conducting introductory dance classes and performances in educational institutions and youth organizations throughout Stanislaus County.
Creative activity is a source of joy and wonder that encourages students to see the world in a different light. Children are powerfully affected by storytelling, music and dance. It is our belief that the performing arts should be a part of every child's experience.
To provide all children in our community who have a desire to perform and be self-expressive, the opportunity to do so through dance.
THE JULINE FOUNDATION FOR CHILDREN CONSISTS OF THREE PROGRAMS:
The Outreach Program was created to meet the needs of underserved children in our local schools whom otherwise may not have access to dance instruction. Children who benefit from this program are given dance classes from our instructors and youth mentors, all music/art/dance supplies, and performance apparel. The curriculum includes a broad range of dance styles from jazz, ballet, hip hop, and musical theatre.
JULINE JUNIORS DANCE
The Juline Juniors Dance Program offers those dancers from the Outreach Program who have shown a special aptitude for dance a chance to explore more in depth areas of dance and performance.
JULINE REGIONAL YOUTH BALLET
